- Linux Embedded Engineer
Julien holds a master's degree in Computer Science from ESGI Paris, and has over 11 years experience. He started his professional activities in humanoid robotics domain by developing embedded Linux systems for SoftBank Robotics's robots: NAO, Romeo and Pepper. Julien mainly did development in OpenEmbedded and Yocto distribution as well as kernel drivers and middleware software. He led a team of 7 people working on Linux BSP and embedded Android and was responsible for CPU architecture of the future design. Since April 2020, Julien is now a member of IoT.bzh as Embedded Linux Engineer, and is responsible for the Zephyr support on Renesas R-Car Gen3 platform.
