Licensing
redpesk® is available under different licensing options designed to accommodate the needs of our various users:
- redpesk® licensed under non LGPLv3 licenses is appropriate for the development of proprietary or commercial software where you do not want to share any source code with third parties or cannot comply with the terms of the GNU LGPL version 3.
redpesk® license permits the linking, distribution and commercialization of any component produced by an official redpesk® instance under binary form without any license fee and without any license distribution restriction.
redpesk® sources as well as binary components produced outside an official redpesk® instance remain under LGPv3 license except for a specific commercial contract signed with IoT.bzh. - redpesk® licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) version 3 is appropriate for the development of redpesk® applications provided you can comply with the terms and conditions of the GNU LGPL version 3 (or GNU GPL version 3).
redPesk also contains third-party code that is licensed under specific open-source licenses from the original authors.
redpesk® documentation is available under commercial licenses from The IoT.bzh Company, and under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License (FDL) version 1.3, as published by the Free Software Foundation.
